For this new semester I got really excited because. This is the one and only semester that involves practical things like cooking and stuff. I’ve never tried any of those practical things, yes, I cook at home but that doesn’t count because it’s totally different from the thing that being taught for this semester. So I’m so excited to learn all of those things.
In the first week, I decided to work on the main course station. It was hard because I had no clue about working in a kitchen, like a real kitchen where we have to work together with the others. For the second week, the Sous Chef (yes, it was Raymond) asked me to work on the main dish station again and I’m starting to get used to it because I already know what I have to do that time, and I really enjoyed working on that station. The Sous Chef said that I did a great job on that and he wanted me to be the Sous Chef for the next week. As the result, I was like clueless when I was on that position. It was because I have lack of experience in kitchen so that I couldn’t do well that day.
So that’s life. We do learn something from our mistakes. In order to do that, we have to be brave to do something that we haven’t tried so that we know whether we did right or wrong. I was glad to be chosen by Raymond for that position, so now I know what are the things that have to be done in the future. I learned something J
Great entry. Again, a few grammatical errors. Try to proofread before publishing. Good coherence and cohesion. Great structure - ideas are logically arranged and conclusion is nicely put.
